Skoda Auto India has revealed the 2026 Kushaq facelift, marking the first significant update to its popular mid-size SUV since its 2021 debut.
The refreshed model was unveiled on January 20, 2026, with pre-bookings now open at ₹15,000.
Official pricing is expected in February, and deliveries are slated to start by the end of March.
Key Highlights

The standout addition is a panoramic sunroof on the top-spec Prestige and Monte Carlo variants, while a standard electric sunroof now comes across the entire range making it more accessible than ever in this segment.
Skoda has also introduced rear-seat massage functions on select higher trims, a feature typically reserved for premium sedans. This marks a first in the mid-size SUV category and adds a notable luxury element.
Under the hood, the 1.0-litre TSI engine now pairs with a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission (replacing the previous 6-speed), promising smoother shifts and improved comfort in urban driving. The 1.5-litre TSI variant gains rear disc brakes for better braking performance.
Practicality gets a boost too, with boot space expanded to 491 litres ,an increase of 106 litres from previous version.
Updated Design


The facelift adopts Skoda’s Modern Solid design language. The front features sharper LED headlamps and an illuminated grille strip, while the rear gains connected LED tail-lamps and illuminated SKODA lettering. Fresh alloy wheel designs round out the exterior refresh.
Interior and Tech Upgrades

The cabin feels more modern and tech-oriented. Higher variants include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Google Gemini AI has been integrated for enhanced voice commands and navigation.

Comfort touches include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a premium sound system, and front parking sensors.
Engine Lineup

Two turbo-petrol options remain:
- 1.0-litre TSI: 115 PS, 178 Nm – available with 6-speed manual or new 8-speed automatic
- 1.5-litre TSI: 150 PS, 250 Nm – paired with 7-speed DSG automatic
Both comply with BS6 Phase 2 norms and offer an expected mileage of 18-19 kmpl.
Safety Features
The Kushaq retains its strengths here, with six airbags standard and a 5-star Global NCAP rating. Additional includes ESC, TPMS, and hill-hold assist. Notably, ADAS and a 360-degree camera are still absent.
Variants and Colours
Five trims are on offer: Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo.
Eight colour choices : Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Deep Black, Lava Blue, and Carbon Steel,
New options: Cherry Red, Shimla Green, and Steel Grey (exclusive to Monte Carlo).

Pricing Outlook
Expect ex-showroom prices to range from ₹11 lakh to ₹19 lakh a modest increase over the current model, yet keeping it competitive against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
